Cathy Telford

BACP Accredited Counsellor

Cathy is a qualified counsellor, clinical supervisor, and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She has worked as a counsellor in the Northamptonshire area for over eight years including in further educational settings, the charitable sector and currently works in independent practice.

Cathy has significant experience in working with a wide range of general mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, and also works with more severe and enduring psychological issues such as personality and eating difficulties. 

Cathy has training and experience in working with individuals as well as offering couples therapy. She is also a qualified supervisor and has a great deal of experience in supervising and supporting other counselling professionals in their work with clients. 

Cathy’s professional ethos is that everyone deserves to have a safe place where they aren’t judged and can feel respected and heard.
