Dr Sarah Berger is a Clinical Psychologist and Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. She is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist, Dr Berger has specialised in working with attachment and complex trauma. However, she also provides psychological therapy for a range of difficulties including mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), phobias and low self-esteem. Dr Berger has experience of working with adults and young people and provides specialist assessment, supervision, consultation, and therapeutic interventions through both face-to-face and online therapy sessions.

Dr Berger is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches which she draws upon to meet each clientsindividual needs and goals. These approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). She specialises in supporting women experiencing psychological difficulties related to the menopause and is trained to use the EMBERS® Menopause CBT Model which draws on a range of psychological approaches.

Dr Berger has been trained as a supervisor and supervises trainee clinical psychologists at the University of Birmingham and Coventry and Warwick University. She has provided lectures at both Warwick University and Coventry University.
