The British Psychological Society (BPS) guidelines specify that Clinical Neuropsychologists should meet the competency framework of training to ensure clients receive the gold standard of expertise when receiving neuropsychological services.
Individuals who meet this criterion are recognised as holding Full Membership with the BPS Division of Neuropsychology (DoN) and are eligible for membership in the British Psychological Society Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN) after completing an accredited training route for SRCN. Criteria for the SRCN involves completing a post-doctoral diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology and further successful examination of a clinical portfolio of cases.
