Dr Carly Carter

Clinical Psychologist

Hello, I’m Dr Carly Carter, a Clinical Psychologist working in both the NHS and private practice. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

In my private practice, I have extensive experience supporting adults and young adults (17+ years old) who are facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, low mood, anger, stress/burnout, difficulty regulating emotions, self-criticism, and traumatic experiences. Within the NHS, I have worked in specialised health services, providing psychological support to individuals living with physical health conditions, neurorehabilitation, and supporting the psychological impact of pain, fatigue, and Covid-19.

I offer both face-to-face and online appointments, delivering an integrative and collaborative approach that draws upon various psychological frameworks and evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of each client. This can include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Personal Construct Psychology (PCP), and narrative/person-centred frameworks.

For more information, and to book a consultation with Dr Carly Carter, please contact Serendipity Psychology today. Whether you are looking for individual therapy, couples therapy or family therapy, Serendipity Psychology can assist you today – offering online & face-to-face sessions.
