Hello, I’m Lucy, an HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist and Chartered Forensic Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. With over 20 years of experience across community, inpatient mental health, neurodevelopmental, and custodial settings, I specialise in a range of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Multisystemic Family Therapy, and DBT.
I prioritise building strong professional relationships with my clients, striving to create a comfortable and supportive environment. As a psychologist, I am committed to breaking down barriers to accessing assessments and specialist services. Through my work at Serendipity Psychology, I collaborate closely with clients to tailor support and identify reasonable adjustments.
My diverse experience includes delivering training and therapy in various settings—hospitals, social care bases, gardens, online, and more—showcasing flexibility in my practice.
I have a particular interest in neurodivergence and advocate for reasonable adjustments, advising organisations and schools on adaptations to enhance the experiences of neurodivergent individuals and foster opportunities for all to achieve their full potential.
In addition to my private practice, I serve as a Bank Consultant Psychologist for an NHS Trust’s Neurodevelopmental Service (Autism Assessment). I have also collaborated extensively with multidisciplinary teams, individual professionals, and organisations, delivering training and co-producing innovative service developments.
I recently led a successful project with care-experienced young people in partnership with Northamptonshire Children’s Trust and the NHS, establishing accessible psychological and mental health support alongside a sustainable gardening initiative.
I am passionate about trauma-responsive environments, safety planning, and utilising a strengths-based approach to understanding each person’s unique story. I offer clinical supervision, consultation, and reflective practice to support teams in providing optimal care for individuals with complex needs.
