Dr Natalie Knight

Clinical Psychologist

Hi, I’m Dr Natalie Knight, and I am a Clinical Psychologist. Over 10 years working in the NHS, I greatly enjoyed supporting people with a range of mental health needs. Before leaving the NHS in 2023, I provided psychological assessment and therapy to children, young people, and their families in a paediatric team, supporting young people with physical health conditions. Since then, I have been working in independent practice.

I specialise in working with people experiencing anxiety and/or low mood. This includes conducting a thorough assessment to explore what is going on for a person and how their difficulties developed before offering therapy, either face-to-face or online.

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness. I often combine one or more of these approaches to best suit the needs of the person I am working with.

I also enjoy working creatively and bringing the real world into our sessions. This might mean getting out and about to practise a technique or working on exposure to a fear. I also find that humour and fun can sometimes help people connect and engage—we’re all human first.

I work from a space in Worcester city centre and offer both online and face-to-face sessions. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a member of the Association for Clinical Psychologists.
