Hello, I’m Tracey. With over two decades of experience in nurturing the well-being of children and adolescents, my journey has been diverse and deeply fulfilling. I am dedicated to advancing my expertise in counselling children and young people through an ongoing MSc programme at the University of Northampton. My educational background includes a BA in counselling children and working with families, providing me with a robust foundation in understanding and supporting the intricate dynamics within families.
In addition to my counselling practice, I collaborate with Change Grow Live as a Recovery Champion. In this role, I contribute to community support and empowerment initiatives, focusing on helping individuals impacted by substance misuse, as well as their families and friends. I play an active role in multidisciplinary teams, working towards empowering homeless individuals.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in an integrative model, drawing from cognitive-behavioural therapy, play therapy, family systems theory, and mindfulness techniques. I specialise in working with children and young people experiencing various challenges, including self-harm, bereavement, and anxiety. My passion lies in supporting children and young people through difficult times, providing them with the tools and support they need to navigate their struggles and thrive.
My ultimate goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with, empowering them to navigate their journeys towards holistic well-being and fulfilment.
