Sarah Fisher

Sarah is trained in NVR (Non Violent Resistance) and has spent the last 6 years working with parents and carers who are experiencing challenging behaviours from their children.  In addition to her training Sarah has lived experience of child to parent violence and brings that, along with theoretical knowledge, to her work with families and when training others in this approach.  Working with organisations across the UK, Sarah has a particular interest in supporting adoptive and foster care families, adapting the NVR approach for those with developmental trauma, FASD, ASD and attachment difficulties.

As a well known author Sarah’s books include ‘Connective Parenting’ which are acknowledged in their field and supplement a number of articles produced for various publications.

Prior to retraining Sarah worked in schools for 12 years.
