Ruth Starns is an Occupational Therapist with over fifteen years experience working with Adults and Children within both inpatient and community settings, within NHS and independent organisations as well as her own private practice.
Ruth has gained experience working with a range of diagnosis such as autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities (including those with profound and complex needs), mental health difficulties and developmental difficulties. In recent years, she has taken post graduate training in sensory integration assessment and therapy, and particularly appreciates working jointly with multidisciplinary colleagues to help understanding and support for clients and their families and carers.
